Amsterdam, 9 July 2019 – Three months after the opening of Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam, Fattal Hotel Group announces yet another milestone. As from August 1st Ramada Apollo Amsterdam will change its name to Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark, thus continuing under the European brand name of Fattal Hotel Group. This is the chain’s third Leonardo Hotel in Amsterdam.
With this name change Fattal Hotel Group increases the brand awareness of Leonardo Hotels in The Netherlands and expands its portfolio in the Dutch capital to 3 Leonardo Hotels with +1.000 hotel rooms. The transition does not affect the management of the hotel.
Alexander Kluit, Managing Director of Fattal Hotel Group, The Netherlands & Belgium: “The Ramada Apollo Hotel was opened in 2012 as the newest flagship of Apollo Hotels and member of Wyndham Hotel Group to benefit from the global reach of the brand. One year ago Apollo Hotels became part of Fattal Hotel Group, one of the fastest developing hotel chains in Europe. With Leonardo Hotels we have a strong brand name in our portfolio to grow internationally and offer our guests the best of both worlds.”
A unique location at supreme height
The hotel with 446 rooms overlooking Rembrandtpark has built a strong position regionally over the past 7 years, both in the business and the leisure market. Erik-Jan Bausch, General Manager: “Two short years after our opening in 2012, we expanded the hotel with a unique asset. Restaurant & Rooftop Terrace Floor17, one of the first rooftop bars of the city, has since blossomed into an icon in the city and never ceases to amaze guests with its breath-taking views. As from August 1st the Leonardo Hotels flag will wave atop our building and presents the perfect stage to announce how we will celebrate this transition in the most Feeling Good way. Those familiar with Floor17’s cutting edge activities will know that this Winter Edition is bound to be another bucketlist item to cross off their list!”
