Amsterdam, 1 August 2019 – Floor17’s Winter Terrace has become a phenomenon in Amsterdam. Every year the hotel skybar surprises the city with a sky high activity. This year, it is reinventing a traditional Dutch game. Erik-Jan Bausch, General Manager of the Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark, is honoured to announce the Winter 2019/2020 activity. Erik-Jan: “Floor17 is known for its ability to stun with sky high activities to celebrate summer and winter. After curling, ice skating and Rooftop Movie Nights, we are going the extra mile this year to celebrate our name change. Visitors can play XXL Shuffleboard at a height of 85 meters and even participate in the Open Championship Rooftop Shuffleboard”.

Today also marks the first day the hotel overlooking Rembrandtpark, formerly known as Ramada Apollo Amsterdam Centre, carries the new name Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark. On this festive day guests get an interactive introduction to the new brand.

FROM RAMADA APOLLO HOTEL TO LEONARDO HOTEL AMSTERDAM REMBRANDTPARK
The hotel with 446 rooms overlooking Rembrandtpark has built a strong position regionally over the past 7 years, both in the business and the leisure market. In 2012 the hotel added Restaurant & Rooftop Terrace Floor17 as one of the first rooftop bars in Amsterdam. It has since blossomed into an icon in the city with its breath-taking views at a height of 85 meters.
