From the hotel you can walk straight into the shopping streets of Antwerp. After the total renovation, it's really a top location in the popular diamond district!"
For the renovation of Leonardo Antwerp, interior designer Andreas Neudahm was inspired by the diamond, the symbol for the city of Antwerp, and a real 'Diamond Suite' will even be realized. As a regular interior designer at Leonardo Hotels, Neudahm designs each hotel in their own style, and now gets the creative freedom. During the renovation work in December and January, Leonardo Antwerp is partially open. In February and March, the ground floor will be completely renovated, and the hotel will be closed. It is expected that the Leonardo Hotel will open completely renovated in April.
Alexander Kluit, Managing Director of Fattal Hotel Group, the Netherlands & Belgium: "At the beginning of 2019, Leonardo Hotels introduced its biggest flagship, the Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam, to the Netherlands. We recently announced that the Apollo Museumhotel on the P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam will also be completely renovated and reopened as a Leonardo Boutique Hotel. As a result, the portfolio of Leonardo Hotels in Amsterdam will grow to +1,200 rooms by 2020. We are pleased to extend this growth and modernisation to Belgium with a complete metamorphosis for Leonardo Hotel Antwerp."
